Exterior The Ford Transit is instantly recognisable, and its newly electrified version is no different. The E-Transit features the same large headlamps and wide, hexagonal grille as its diesel powered siblings, with the distinction of blue accents on the grille bars, which indicate its eco-friendly nature. Easy access Wide opening rear doors provide easy access to the load area, which offers a maximum of 12.4 cubic metres – exactly the same as the E-Transit’s diesel counterpart. There are also right and left sliding doors, enabling you to get to items near the bulkhead.

Fast charging AC and DC charging are both available, giving you flexibility when you’re out and about. The on-board 11.3kW charger can top you up to full capacity in just over eight hours, while the high-power 115kW charger can take the battery from 15-80% in only 34 minutes.

Cutting-edge safety The E-Transit doesn’t compromise when it comes to your protection and that of other road users. Reverse Brake Assist has been introduced on this model, and uses a camera and sensors to detect pedestrians, cyclists and static objects while you’re reversing. A warning is given, and if you fail to act, the van will stop automatically.
