From 1 September 2026, eligible new and demonstrator Ford vehicles can receive up to 7 years of unlimited-kilometre warranty coverage, providing additional peace of mind for Ford owners across Australia.
Every new Ford continues to come with a 5-year unlimited-kilometre warranty. Customers who complete their scheduled servicing on time and exclusively with authorised Ford Dealers can automatically unlock an additional two years of coverage, taking the total warranty period to seven years with unlimited kilometres.
Whether you're considering a Ford Ranger for work and weekends, an Everest for the family, a Mustang for the open road or a Transit for your business, Ford's new warranty offering gives you even more confidence for the road ahead.
How does Ford's 7-Year Warranty work?
There's no separate warranty product to purchase or additional box to tick.
Your new Ford starts with its standard 5-year unlimited-kilometre warranty. Complete your scheduled servicing within the required intervals and exclusively through authorised Ford Dealers, and you'll unlock a further two years of warranty coverage. Servicing must continue to be completed on schedule and exclusively with Ford Dealers during years six and seven to maintain the extended coverage.
That means eligible customers can enjoy:
- Up to 7 years of warranty coverage
- Unlimited kilometres
- An additional two years unlocked through eligible Ford Dealer servicing
- Coverage that can transfer to the next owner if you sell your vehicle during the warranty period
For drivers who spend plenty of time on the road, whether commuting, towing, touring or travelling for work, unlimited-kilometre coverage provides valuable additional reassurance.
Genuine Ford Parts and Accessories are covered too
Ford's extended protection isn't limited to the vehicle itself.
Eligible Genuine Ford Parts, Ford Accessories and Ford Licensed Accessories can also receive coverage for up to seven years with unlimited kilometres, subject to the same scheduled Ford Dealer servicing requirements.
Who is eligible for Ford's 7-Year Warranty?
Vehicles with a Warranty Commencement Date on or after 1 September 2026 are eligible for the extended coverage. For most customers, this will be the vehicle's delivery date. For demonstrator vehicles, the warranty commences from the date the vehicle was first registered by a Ford Dealer.
Ford states that the offer applies across all sale types, with no exclusions, subject to the warranty's servicing requirements, exclusions and conditions.
