Celebrating 60 Years of Peter Warren Ford

In 2026, Peter Warren Ford proudly celebrates an extraordinary milestone: 60 years as an authorised Ford dealer serving Liverpool, Warwick Farm and the wider South West Sydney community.

Since the Peter Warren Ford story began in 1966, much has changed. Vehicles have become safer, smarter and more capable. Showrooms have evolved, technology has transformed the way customers research and purchase cars, and generations of new Ford models have arrived on Australian roads.

However, the values at the heart of Peter Warren Ford have remained consistent: strong relationships, genuine service and a commitment to supporting the local community. 

From Humble Beginnings

The wider Peter Warren Automotive story began in 1958, when founder Peter Warren established a small used-car yard beside Liverpool Railway Station. What started with just three used vehicles would grow into one of Australia’s most recognised automotive dealership groups.

In 1966, the business began its enduring association with Ford and the Blue Oval. It was the beginning of a relationship that would span six decades, countless vehicle deliveries and significant changes across both the automotive industry and the surrounding community.

Over the years, Peter Warren Ford has been there for many of life’s important journeys: a customer purchasing their first car, a family choosing a larger vehicle, a local business adding another work vehicle to its fleet or a long-standing Ford owner returning for their next model.

Making Warwick Farm Home

In 1979, Peter Warren Ford relocated to its current home at Warwick Farm, becoming a flagship dealership within Sydney’s first Automotive Village.

Affectionately known as “The Farm,” the 22-acre Warwick Farm site brought several automotive brands and customer facilities together in one landscaped destination. Peter Warren Ford remains one of the location’s flagship brands today.

The People Behind the Milestone

A 60-year legacy is not built by one person alone.

It is created by generations of employees who have represented Peter Warren Ford across sales, service, parts, finance, administration and customer care. It is strengthened by team members who have shared their knowledge, supported their colleagues and helped customers feel confident in their decisions.
