New Ford Kuga SUV to arrive in March

January 2012

All new Ford Kuga

Ford Australia has announced the latest addition to its line-up - the Ford TE Kuga.

According to the manufacturer, the compact SUV has already experienced overwhelming success amongst drivers in Europe thanks to its capabilities both on and off the road.

The Ford Kuga will appear alongside the marque's Ford Escape and Ford Territory models and will arrive on Australian shores in late March.

Available in two varieties - the Ford Kuga Trend and Ford Kuga Titanium - the all-wheel drive will be powered by a 2.5 litre five-cylinder turbo petrol engine and will include Ford's unique Kinetic Design.

Alloy wheels, keyless start and stop, capless refuelling and voice control will all come as standard and the Ford Kuga will be manufactured in eight exterior colours.

The Titanium model boasts additional features such as leather-trimmed seats and gear shifter, rear parking sensors and privacy glass.

Safety features for both Ford Kuga models will include ABS with electronic brake distribution and traction control, as well as emergency brake assist and DSC with anti-rollover mitigation.

The Ford TE Kuga joins one of the fastest growing segments in the Australian car market, with SUVs now accounting for almost one in four new-vehicle sales.

The Ford Kuga will be available at Peter Warren Ford in March. Register your interest today so we can book you in for a test drive!
